Tom Weiss, Boy Scout Leader
Tom Weiss volunteers as Committee Chair for his son's Boy Scout Troop in Fergus Falls, Minnesota.

The Boy Scout mission is to prepare young people to make ethical choices over their lifetimes. As part of that mission, they promote an active outdoors program. Each summer they take a high adventure trip.

With adult supervision, the Scouts plan the trip. They study maps and decide canoe routes to take. They make arrangements, check equipment, plan menus, buy food, and pack.
